Good Friday Solidarity Rally at Planned Parenthood

AUW is again sponsoring a bus to take people from the First Universalist Church parking lot to Planned Parenthood in St. Paul, where parking is limited.

Good Friday is a big day for anti-choice protests at the Planned Parenthood clinic in St. Paul.  They will have half a block to protest.  The other half is for a Solidarity Rally for those of us who appreciate the importance of Planned Parenthood in supporting women’s health.

The bus will depart from First Universalist around 9 a.m., and return around 12:30 p.m.

Contact Valerie Garber at if you want to sign up or have questions.  You don’t have to sign up, but it will give us a better idea of how many people are coming.

AUW Winter Tea this Saturday, 2/6/16

The AUW Winter Tea is this coming Saturday, Feb. 6, from 2 to 4 p.m., in the Social Hall at church.   Barb Melom suggests that this would be a good time to have a bra collection. “Recently there was an article in the paper talking about the need for bras for women who often arrive at shelters in their pajamas and people seldom think about donating bras…gently used ones are ok.”
